“Cellular” | Luke Boyd

With the advent of cell phones, life has changed dramatically and, with the addition of high-definition digital cameras, the medium of photography has begun to evolve as well. Luke says, “Anyone can pick up a phone and capture a beautiful image, and that’s what I try to do.”  His photo studies exhibit life’s moments captured in an instant, made possible by the ever-present cell phone.

“Here are a few images captured from my life,” he says. Luke Boyd spends his days as a dashing clerk in the deli of the Good Earth Market and his nights playing music, drawing, singing, or generally making a nuisance of himself.

“Cellular” was exhibited May 4 through July 27.
